China's first national intellectual property evaluation and certification center opened on Feb 28, with its online assessment system going online on the same day. Along with the State Intellectual Property Office's global patent database and fully-trained team of analysts, the SIPO-affiliated center is expected to facilitate IP operation and commercialization, said SIPO Deputy Commissioner He Hua.
